This medicine is a combination of Cefixime, a cephalosporin antibiotic and Ofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Cefixime prevents the bacteria from forming cell walls, which are essential for its survival. Ofloxacin prevents it from repairing and reproducing. Both the ingredients work well together to ensure that the infection is treated accordingly. These tablets treat bacterial infections only.

These tablets can be taken with food to avoid an upset stomach but your doctor may advise you to take it on an empty stomach. Consume as directed. Do not leave the course in between if symptoms get better as that will increase the bacterial resistance and symptoms may return worse.
