Amoxycillin – Potassium Clavulanate is a combination penicillin type antibiotic (augmentin) prescribed by doctors to treat bacterial infections. While amoxycillin prevents bacterial growth in the body, potassium clavulanate is a beta lactamase inhibitor that prevents bacterial resistance to amoxycillin. Together, they can help treat several paediatric infections such as Acute Otitis Media (AOM), acute bacterial sinusitis, aspiration pneumonia and other infections of the lungs, ears, skin and sinus.
Shake the bottle to loosen the powder. Use the provided sterile water to reconstitute the powder and store the solution in a refrigerator. Administer the doses as prescribed by the doctor. Use the reconstituted suspension within 4 days
