Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that is used to treat high levels of stomach acid. The medication is prescribed to heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, prevent ulcers and prevent cancer of the esophagus. Domperidone is a prokinetic that increases the movement of the stomach and intestines. It also works as an anti-nausea agent. This combination medication is used to treat acidity, GERD, and heartburn in patients.
